Campaign Identity & Content Design

Jordan has one of the lowest female labour force participation rates in the world, attributed to a variety of factors, including structural barriers, discriminatory practices, and gender norms. Magenta - a consulting firm focused on social and behavioural change - was working with UN Women Jordan to implement the project 'Jordanian Women at the Forefront of Society’. They enlisted my help to design a logo and social media campaign for a national advocacy campaign that would be rolled out across Jordan.

To design an impactful campaign, it was crucial to first understand what UN Women aimed to achieve with their social media campaign. Our collaborative process began with an exploration of the campaign's main objectives. The goal was to highlight leading Jordanian women from various sectors and provide them with a platform to share their personal experiences of overcoming gender barriers in the workplace, with the hope of inspiring young men and women.

Since the primary target audience was young women and men, I chose bright, inviting colors and a layout that placed the featured women front and center.

For the logo, I opted for a simple yet timeless design that would stand out against the logos of the project’s partners.
